Privacy Policy

FantasyHQ (“FantasyHQ,” “we,” “us”) provides AI-assisted tools and tracking for fantasy football leagues at fantasyhq.ca. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using FantasyHQ you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address, and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account’s name, email, and profile image. We use Supabase Auth to manage sign-in.
- League data. When you connect a Yahoo Fantasy account, we import data you authorize: league details, team/manager names, rosters, draft picks, trades, and matchup history. This powers your league tracker and the Coach.
- Coach conversations. Messages you send to the Dynasty Coach and its responses, so we can maintain your chat history.
- Technical data. Standard request and session data (e.g. authentication cookies) required to operate and secure the service.
How we use your data
- To provide and operate the league tracker and AI Coach.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To ground the Coach’s answers in your league’s own data alongside league-agnostic NFL context.
- To communicate with you about your account and the service.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your league data to train our own models.
AI processing
Coach conversations and the relevant league context are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate responses. Anthropic processes this data as our service provider to return a response; refer to Anthropic’s policies for how they handle API data.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run FantasyHQ:
- Supabase: database and authentication.
- Vercel: application hosting.
- Anthropic: the Claude API that powers the Coach.
- Yahoo: the source of imported league data (via your authorization).
- Google: optional sign-in.
- Resend: transactional email (e.g. sign-in and account messages).
Data retention & your rights
We keep your data while your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Deleting your league removes its associated data. Some records may be retained where required to comply with legal obligations.
Security
Access to data is restricted to the server-side application; database rows are isolated per league. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children’s privacy
FantasyHQ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Your data, your call
To change the email address on your account, or to permanently delete your account and all data associated with it, email support@fantasyhq.ca from the account’s address. We handle these requests within a day.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
